1.About these terms
These terms apply when you book a term enrolment, casual visit, introductory class or gift card with Cuddle & Sing (“we”, “us”). By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them. We record which version you accepted and when.
Nothing in our policies excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If anything here is unclear, please ask before you book — we’re happy to explain.
2.Our classes
Cuddle & Sing is live music and movement for babies, toddlers and preschoolers with their grown-ups. It is not formal or graded music tuition, and we don’t promise particular developmental or medical outcomes.
- Baby Beat (about 6–14 months, or until walking) runs for 30 minutes.
- Toddler Groove (about 14–30 months) and Mini Movers (about 2.5–3.5 years) run for 45 minutes.
- Age ranges are a guide. If another group suits your child better, talk to us and we’ll agree on the right fit, subject to space.
- A parent or carer stays with each child for the whole class.
- Groups are kept small (we aim for 8–10 children, never more than 12 paid places) and within the venue’s safe room limit, so we ask how many adults and non-enrolled siblings are coming when you book.
3.Booking and payment
- Prices are in Australian dollars and are paid in full when you book. There are no instalments, subscriptions or automatic renewals — nothing is charged again unless you book again.
- Card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay where available) are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you reach the payment step we hold your places for 10 minutes. If payment isn’t completed in that time the places are released.
- Your booking is confirmed only once your payment is confirmed. We then email your confirmation and receipt.
- If your payment arrives after the held place has gone, we will not keep your money without a place: we’ll contact you to offer another class or a full refund.
- Joining part-way through a term? You pay only for the remaining dated sessions.
4.Prices and discounts
- Term enrolment: $28 per scheduled session for the first child.
- Casual visit: $33 per session for the first child.
- Introductory class: $15 per child — once per child, for new families. It counts as that child’s first session.
- Siblings: the second and later children receive 50% off term ($14 per session) and casual ($16.50) prices, even if they attend different groups. Introductory classes stay at $15 per child.
- If you book the term within 7 days of your child’s introductory class, the $15 you paid is credited against that term and the intro session isn’t charged twice.
- Only one promotional discount (such as a promo code or sibling discount) applies to a booking — we automatically use whichever saves you more. Gift cards and account credit are payment methods, not discounts, so they can be used together with a discount.
- Promo codes have their own conditions (dates, products and limits), which are shown with the code.
5.Absences and make-up classes
- Tell us your child will be absent at least 2 hours before the class starts (in the Family App or by email) and you’ll receive a make-up for that session, up to 2 make-ups per term enrolment.
- Later notice or a no-show doesn’t earn a make-up, though you can still let us know for our attendance records.
- Make-ups can be booked into any suitable class with space in the same term. They don’t carry over to the next term, can’t be exchanged for money and depend on availability.
- If you need to cancel a booked make-up, do so at least 24 hours before it starts to keep it for another class; later cancellations use it up.
- Classes we cancel never count towards your 2 make-ups.
6.Cancellations and refunds
Casual visits
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the class starts and we’ll add account credit for a future class, valid for 6 months.
- Later cancellations and no-shows ordinarily don’t receive credit or a refund.
Term enrolments
- Cancel at least 7 NSW business days before the term starts for a refund of the amount paid, less a $35 administration fee. Business days exclude weekends and NSW public holidays.
- Later cancellations are ordinarily non-refundable.
- Medical or other exceptional circumstances are always considered individually — please contact us. There is no automatic decision and no requirement to upload medical documents.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Credits are added to your Family App account.
When we cancel or change a class
- If a teacher is unavailable we’ll first try to arrange a substitute.
- Otherwise we’ll offer a replacement class, account credit or a refund, and let you know as early as we can.
- If a new group doesn’t reach the minimum number of families by the decision date, we’ll offer another group or a full refund.
These cancellation rules don’t limit any refund, repair, replacement or other remedy you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law, for example if a service is not provided with due care and skill or is not delivered.
7.Gift cards and account credit
- Gift cards are valid for at least 3 years from purchase (the expiry date is shown on the card) and can be used for term, casual and introductory classes. Any unused balance stays on the card.
- Gift cards are like cash — please keep the code safe. We can’t replace a code someone else has already used.
- Account credit (from casual cancellations or referrals) is valid for 6 months from the date it’s issued, can be spent in part and is shown in your Family App.
- Referral rewards: when a new family you referred completes their first eligible term purchase and the refund period has passed, you receive $28 credit. Self-referrals and refunded purchases don’t qualify.
8.Waitlists and next-term bookings
- Joining a waitlist is free. When a place opens up we offer it to the next family in line and hold it for 24 hours; if it isn’t taken we offer it to the next family.
- Current families get a priority week to book the next term before bookings open to everyone. Nothing renews automatically — priority ends if no booking is made.
9.Illness and health
- Please stay home if your child, you or another family member coming to class is unwell or may be infectious. Follow current NSW Health guidance on when it is safe to return after an illness.
- Leftover mild symptoms (such as a lingering sniffle) or allergies don’t automatically mean you need to stay away.
- For everyone’s safety, the teacher may ask a family whose child is visibly unwell to leave the class.
- If you let us know at least 2 hours before class, the usual make-up rules apply. Medical exceptions to make-up or refund rules are reviewed individually.
- Optional allergy or health notes help us keep your child safe — see our medical and allergy information notice.
10.Safety, behaviour and the room
- You remain responsible for your child throughout the class. Children are welcome to watch, cuddle, move, explore or take a break whenever they need to.
- We are a nut-aware space, not a guaranteed nut-free one. Please don’t bring foods containing nuts and don’t share food. Snacks and water are best before or after class or during a calm break, not during active movement. Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding are always welcome.
- Our instruments are age-appropriate and cleaned regularly. Anything that has been mouthed is set aside for cleaning. There are no fines for accidental damage.
- Please be kind and respectful to other families, children and our teachers. For everyone’s safety, the teacher may ask an adult whose behaviour is unsafe or disrespectful to leave a class, and we’ll talk with you about any ongoing concerns.
- You’re welcome to take photos of your own child. Please don’t photograph, film or share other children without their parent’s permission.
11.Changes to classes and to these terms
We may need to change a class time, teacher or venue. We’ll tell you as early as we can and offer a suitable alternative, credit or refund if the change doesn’t work for you.
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page tell you which terms are current; bookings are governed by the version you accepted when you booked.
12.Responsibility and liability
We take care to run safe, well-supervised classes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss that isn’t caused by our failure to take reasonable care or to meet our obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
